Hadi Dadashian has been romantic about travel since he left home at the age of 13 and got his own apartment in Rome.

As a freelance photographer, he has traveled from the South Pacific and Asia to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.  His portfolio ranges from tropical landscapes to Afghanistan war survivors.

Kathleen Kenna boarded her first plane at 21.  In her large family in rural Ontario, road trips in a station wagon were the limit.  She has traveled to every continent except the Antarctic and Australia.

We met at a tango party in Washington, D.C., not far from the White House.

Our wedding at Our Lady of the Mountains Church at Whistler, British Columbia, was the first time Hadi visited Canada.

We’ve been traveling together since then, from the Greek islands to India.
